Ulsan Science and Technology Institute (UNIST); creativity, interdisciplinary skills and global thinking.

Ulsan Science and Technology Institute (UNIST) is located in the heart of Korea’s largest industrial city, Ulsan. It opened in 2009, had its first graduation ceremony in 2013 and became a government-funded research institute in 2015.

Their vision is to become a world leading university for the prosperity of humankind. Their goal is to be ranked within one of the world´s top 10 science and technology universities by 2030. Their strategy for achieving this focuses on creativity, interdisciplinary skills and global thinking.

(Their undergraduate program cater to 11 schools, 23 subjects and 18 graduate programs. UNIST consist of 444 faculties, 3.800 undergraduates and 1.643 graduates.)
